Author. He moved to Tromso, Norway, where he found a job working with the road authority. He later turned to writing and he wrote several short stories and poetry, mainly of the horror ghost nature which were published in newspapers and magazines. He also wrote two volumes of ghost stories and horror stories. His first volume entitled, "Timen for daggry, spokelseshistorier" (or "The Hour Before Dawn: Ghost Stories"), was published by Grondahl Publishing in 1985. Following the release of the book the Norwegian writer, literary critic, and journalist Sissel Lange-Nielsen gave the work a review in the Aftenposten Newspaper. Sissel Lange-Nielsen said of the work, he liked the book and that the stories in the book were so well told that he thought for sure they were to become classics. He continued to write until his death. His second volume of ghost stories and horror stories entitled, "Skarvholmen, spokelseshistorier fra Nord-Norge" (or "Skarvholmen: Ghost Stories From Northern Norway"), was published and released posthumously some ten years after his death in 2008.
