Hattie A. Angel was paid last respects Saturday April 16, 1983 afternoon at the Pentecostal Holiness church with Sister Irene Nickell officiating. Mrs Angel was born June 19, 1886, in Rubottom, I.T., to Alfred Glover and Alice Chalmbers Dickenson. She died Thursday, April 14, 1983, at a Tulsa hospital. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church. She and Simon J. Angel were married August 14, 1919, in Lula. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1962. Survivors include a daughter, Geneva Smith, Tulsa; a son, S.J. Angel, Miami, AZ.; two sisters, Rhoda Shackells and Rose Shackells both of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Burial was in Coalgate cemetery with Epperson Funeral service in charge.
