Nancy Venita (Brooks) Anderson, 84 of Corder, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at her home.

She was born December 24, 1937 in Corder, to the late William A. Brooks and the late Gladys V. (Coleman) Brooks. She grew up in Corder and was the proud daughter of a coal miner. She graduated from Corder High School in 1957. She married William S. "Bill" Anderson, Jr. on July 16, 1960, at The Corder Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2011, and they spent 51 blessed years together.

William and Nancy spent some years moving around while he was in the Navy and at the same time raising 7 children. Nancy enjoyed taking family vacations and traveling. She loved copying recipes. Nancy was good at cooking and baking for her children and family members. She had beautiful penmanship and an excellent memory. She enjoyed drawing, crossword puzzles, getting her nails done, and she never missed out on watching the Hallmark Channel. Nancy was very skilled at crocheting and sewing. She used her sewing skills while working at the Higginsville Garment Factory and factory related workplaces.

Nancy cherished her time with her grandkids and was the best "Nanny" anyone could ever ask for. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family who loved her very much.

Surviving are three sons, three daughters, two brothers, one sister-in-law, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Anderson, Jr.; one son, Bobby Anderson; three brothers, Albert Brooks, Gary Brooks and William "Junior" Brooks; two sisters, Wanda Brooks, Kathy Hill; and one granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 10AM to 11AM on Friday, February 4, 2022, at The Corder Presbyterian Church located at 403 N. Main St. Corder, Missouri.

A memorial service will follow at 11AM at the church with Rev. Ralph Varner officiating. Burial will follow at Corder Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to Family Choice.
