Garnett Harmon Baugh, 81, of Danville passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Born August 9, 1940, he was the son of the late James Allen and Ruth Baugh. He had served in the Army National Guards.
Garnett Harmon Baugh, 81, of Danville passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Born August 9, 1940, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Allen and Ruth Westerfield Baugh
Garnett is survived by his daughter, Carman Preston of Danville; sisters: Ruth Johnson, Mary Ann Hampton, and Teresa (Ricky) Lynn, all of Danville; and a step-granddaughter, Danielle Holloway of Danville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Ailleen Coffman Baugh and siblings: Dolly Goins, Rebecca Baugh, Virginia Cook, Clifton Baugh, Ernest Baugh, Cleo Crowe; and three infants.
Garnett was known in the community as a genial and patient man, a lifelong farmer, and friend to many throughout Boyle County. He had a deep love of the land and was a faithful steward of the Earth for over 50 years. He had also served his country as a member of the US Army National Guard.
Visitation is 11am-1pm, Tuesday, February 8 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1pm with Bro. Donnie Goode officiating. Burial is in Bellevue Cemetery with military honors by the US Army. Pallbearers are Jeremy McDaniel, Brian Wren, Kevin Wren, Tommy Johnson, Jeff Quinn, Chris Coffman, Greg Coffman, and Josh Lukins.
