Robert P. Taylor, Jr., 57 of West Deer Township, died suddenly Wednesday February 2, 2022 at UPMC Passavant, McCandless.

He was born September 18, 1964 in McCandless to the late Robert P. Taylor, Sr. and Amy E. (Barngrover) Taylor.

Bob grew up in West Deer graduating from Deer Lakes High School in 1982. He served his country in the US Army specializing in electronic warfare. Bob moved to Connecticut, where he worked in the New England Carpenters Union, until he returned to West Deer in 2010. He then was a self-employed contractor operating his own business for the past 12 years. Bob enjoyed hunting, listening to music, riding his Harley, wood working and especially was looking forward to the birth of his new grandson. Bob was a hard worker and always put others before himself. His sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Survivors include his son Robert P. Taylor, III, his daughters Jenna L. (Erik) Bonant and Kayla (George) Noujaim, grandchildren Joseph and Ryan, his Mom Amy E. (Barngrover) Taylor, his sister Amy R. Taylor O'Connor, his niece Courtney and his nephews Luke and Shaun.

Beside his father he was preceded in death by his sisters Beth A. Bertha and Laurie E. Austin.
