William was born August 12, 1951, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to John and Margaret Dickson.
Mr. Dickson was a maintenance director as well as a gunsmith for over 20 years. William loved taking care of friends, his family, and spending time with his grandkids. Among countless other hobbies, he also was passionate about fishing, hunting, metal detecting, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and brothers.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or Latham Springs Baptist Encampment.
