Fayetteville—Betty Lopes Edge, 87 passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at her home. Betty was born in Montreal, Canada on September 27, 1933 to the late Ernest and Jessie (Tracey) Overall.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Conrad Charles Lopes; her second husband Alex Eskel Edge and her five brothers, Frank, Clayton, Melvin, Roy and Ronnie Overall.
Betty is survived by her five children, her ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, along with many extended family and friends.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved God and her church family. She was an active member of Gardner's United Methodist Church on Rosehill Road since 1967. Betty touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.
A private family service will be held Thursday. Friends, neighbors and extended family know that you will be there in our hearts and that she loved you all.
