Donald William Hardison, Sr., died on February 5, 2022.

Graveside service will be held at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, with the Rev. Mark Hudgins officiating.

Don was born on January 18, 1941 to the late Henry Hardison and Evelyn McCranie Hardison Mathews.

He graduated from Lanier High School and attended Middle Georgia College. He was a retired salesman. He attended Mikado Baptist Church.

Don valued his friendships of many years and two of his greatest pleasures during retirement was to be a part of a weekly men's Bible study in Forsyth, GA and monthly meetings with fellow friends from Lanier High School.

Don lived an abundant life (John 10:10b), full of God's blessings and was certain of salvation and eternal life in heaven. His greatest joy was being with his family.

Don is survived by his children – Tammy Jones (Morgan), Kim Jones (Mike), Heidi Griffin (Lynn), and Donald Hardison (Carol); grandchildren – Bradford Jones (Keilah), Haleigh Watwood (James), Ansley Hardison and Brodie Hardison; great grandchildren – Silas Jones and Reed Jones; wife of 51 years and mother of his children – Paulette Hardison; as well as brothers - Cliff Hardison (Ann), Bob Hardison, and Pat Hardison (Gloria) and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethesda Children's Home, Farm Project of Tlapa, Mexico c/o Mount Abarim Baptist Mission International, PO Box 173067, Arlington, TX 76003.
