He was a native of Richmond,Kentucky and was the son of Frances Leo and ula Hardy Moore. He retired from Padgett Inc,in New Albany,In. and had worked for 35 years with the Ironworkers Local #70 in Louisville. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite.
Survivors include;his wife, the former Cassandra "Cassi" Luckett; two sons, Michael Scott Moore II (Dawn), Shawn Timothy Moore; one sister Sandra K. Bush (Dan); five grandchildren, jesse and Tyler Moore, Colt,Remington and Brayden Beach.
Local arrangements will be a visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville, 1846 E. Oak Street. There will also be visitation from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Milward Funeral Home, 391 Southland Drive, Lexington,Ky. 40503. Scott's funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Milward Funeral Home.
