Larry Jack Cook, age 83 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away from this life on February 4th, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Larry was born on October 20th, 1938 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Ruby (Sayers) and Osee Cook. Larry loved music and was a very talented vocal artist. He sang gospel music at church and had a natural talent. He also enjoyed traveling especially through the mountains. Larry was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
Larry is survived by his wife of the home, Georgia; children, Mark Cook and wife Debbie of Talihina, Oklahoma, Connie Brown and husband Monty of Belen, New Mexico, Travis Fitzgerald of Talihina, Oklahoma, Cheryl Eoff of Jerusalem, Arkansas, Michael Fitzgerald of Eric, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shawn, Travis, Angela and Dawnette; great grandchildren, Nicole, Houston, Katie, Cheyenna, Bethany, Elijah, Isaac, Julie, Alaina, Caleb, Ittai, Devan, Skylar, and Steven; one sister, Rita Cook of Alexandria, LA; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Larry is preceded in passing by his parents, Osee and Ruby Cook; daughter, Danita; two grandsons, Jerod and Shannon; siblings, Royce, Joyce, David and Donny.
Visitation will be on Tuesday February 8th, 2022 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Services will be on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church in Talihina, Oklahoma with Bro. Mark Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the New Talihina City Cemetery in Talihina, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma
