George T. Abbey, 64, of Charleroi, Pa., died Thursday, December 27, 2007, in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1943, in North Charleroi, Pa., a son of the late John and Kathrene Wilkinson Abbey.
George served in the United States Navy and was a Security Guard.
Surviving are one brother, Jerry C. Abbey and wife, Yvonne of Brownsville, Pa., and a stepbrother, James Wergin of Monongahela, Pa.
In addition to his parents George is preceded in death by his sister, Latrica Hess, stepbrother, Barry Wergin and a nephew, Scott Abbey.
Friends will be received Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, Pa. Funeral Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
