Mr. Angel died Nov. 6, 2006, at Clarita. He was born Oct. 5, 1922, at Clarita, to James Wesley and Gracie Lee Ingram Angel. He attended school at Clarita, Wapunucka and Murray State College. He married Billie June Parker Feb. 2, 1941, at Caddo. Mr. Angel was a rancher and worked with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife as a game warden for 30 years. He also served in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC Camp). He served in the U. S. Army for three years in North Africa during World War II. He was injured in combat and received the Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Gracie Lee Angel; brothers, Willis, Denny and Harold Dean; and sisters, Larue Griffin and Tommie Ely.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Angel, of the home; daughters, Kathy Angel, Tishomingo, and Alice Migliorino and husband Charles, Bromide; grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Migliorino, Tehlequah, and Elizabeth Angel Burney and husband Brian, Edmond; great-grandchildren, Lathen Joseph Migliorino, Lari Jimison and Emma Lynn Burney; a brother, J. R. Angel, Topeka, Kan.; sisters, Louise Faulk, Wapanucka, and Anna Romines, Pixley, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bearers are Abe Hershberger, Rufus Batees, Bennie Harner, Nicholas Migliorino, Charles Migliorino, Tommy Reeder and Jimmy Henthorn
