TUPELO - Services for Dollie Angel, 73, Tupelo, are 2 p.m. Wednesday Mar 4, 1992 at Tupelo First Baptist Church, the Revs. David Browning and Floyd Cooper conducting rites. Burial follows at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Angel died March 1, 1992, at her home. She was born Sept. 27, 1918, at Coal Co. to Benjamin and Sarah Francis Swaffar Horton. She attended Owl Creek rural school & lived in the Tupelo area all her life. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Tupelo. On June 19 1937, she and Archie Irven Angel were married at Lula. Survivors include her husband, Archie, of the home; one daughter, Charlotte Angel, of the home; three sisters, twin sister Ollie Cricket Cooper, Ada, Jessie Wilson & Vivian Townsend both of Tupelo; two brothers, Woodrow Horton, Ada, and Alfred Horton, Stonewall, OK. Bearers are Larry Ingram, Ronnie Walkup, Dean Dugan, Gary Horton, Doyle Cooper and Paul Hudson. Criswell Funeral Home, Ada, is in charge of arrangements.
