Sarah "Sally" Armstrong, 75, Lexington, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015.
She was born July 12, 1940 in Muncie, Ind., to the late Charles and Lilly Sanders Stevens.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, the S.O.C.S. (Seniors of Centenary) and very active in her Sunday School class. She enjoyed learning about anything, growing flowers and was an avid antique collector.
Surviving relatives include: a daughter, Jane (Rick) Lafollette, Valparaiso, Ind.; a son, Steven Armstrong, Lexington; two grandchildren, Jamie and Rebecca Lafollette; a sister, Judith Baragone, San Bernardino, Calif.; an aunt, Vera Rhinehart, Muncie, Ind.; two nephews and a niece.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm Thursday, Sept. 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 2800 Tates Creek Road, Lexington, KY, with the Rev. Tom Grieb officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the service time on Thursday at the church.
Kerr Brothers, Lexington, is in charge of arrangements.
