P.A. Agelasto Jr., 79, of 1500 McCullough Lane, a native of Norfolk and the widower of Hannah Rawls Agelasto, died Tuesday in a hospital.
Mr. Agelasto had been a tax attorney for 50 years. He was associated with the law firm of Jett, Agelasto, Berkley, Furr and Price.
An avid hunter and sportsman, Mr. Agelasto founded the Norfolk Boat Club. He was a member of the Norfolk German Club and the Norfolk-Portsmouth, Virginia bar associations. He was a past president of the Izaak Walton League.
Mr. Agelasto was educated at Wake Forest University and the University of Virginia.
Survivors include two sons, Peter A. Agelasto III of Virginia Beach and Michael A. Agelasto II of Venice Calif., and two grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Charles M. Riddle III. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, is in charge.
Memorial donations may be set to the Izaak Walton League or to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
