A Memorial Service for Rickey will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Tate Springs Baptist Church.

Rickey was born September 17, 1955 to Billie Barfield and Melvin Autrey,

Rick was a graduate of South Grand Prairie High School. He cut hair the majority of his career and was the owner of Garden Plaza Barber Shop. Rick shared life with his customers and built unique relationships with them. He was a trustworthy friend and confidant. His greatest accomplishment was being a loving and dedicated husband, father, O-Pa and friend. Whether at the barber shop, bowling alley, golf course or baseball game, Rick always greeted you with a smile and a hug. His infectious laugh brightened any mood. He will be missed by all and received with joy by the saints.
