N. H. Avery, colored, one of Broken Bow, eldest darkies, passed away at his home here Wednesday. Avery resided here approximately 30 years, and was employed as janitor in the former Broken Bow First National Bank for twenty years.
Services were held Thursday.

BROKEN BOW, Feb. 9. --- N. H. Avery, aged Negro, died at his home here recently. Spigner funeral home, Idabel, was in charge of burial in Broken Bow cemetery.
Avery was employed several years as a janitor at the McCurtain County bank here.
