Aaron Charles Settle, Sr., 48, of Decatur, passed away 12:05 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at his home in Decatur.
Aaron was born on December 8, 1973 in Decatur, the son of William R. Settle, Sr. and Cheryl D. (Baker) Settle. He graduated from Mt. Zion High School. Aaron enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. Aaron was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburg Stealers.
He is survived by his parents, William and Cheryl Settle of Dalton City; children, Acey Ann (Jared) Green of Clinton and Aaron Charles "AJ" (Tasha) Settle, Jr. of Mattoon; grandchildren, Isaac, Jonah, Jase, Mya, Cheyenne and Jayden; brother, William R. (Brenda) Settle, Jr. of Decatur; sister, Tonia L. Settle of Dalton City. Aaron is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, Chuck.
Burial will be in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany.
