Judith Kay Klingler, 77, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 7:18 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 27, 1944 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Gerald and Monna Belle (nee:) Thomas Maxwell.

Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed all the things that it involved such as sewing, cooking, baking and caring for her large number of children which she referred to as 'her first bunch' and 'her second bunch' and her husband and household.

She was well known for her delicious peanut butter fudge.

Judy was a fun-loving person and enjoyed time spent with her many friends.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left behind to mourn her passing are her children, Sandra Riley, Beverly (Vic) Myers, Susan Pletcher, Stacey Klingler (Randy Hinkle), Danny (Anne) Klingler, Dale (Jodi) Klingler, Christy (Matt) Renick, Lori Klingler (Bryan Quinn) and Angie (Christopher) Driggs; her siblings, Laurie (Larry) Joseph, Jack (Donna) Maxwell and Donald Maxwell; her grandchildren, Ruth (Tom) McCafferty, Jason (Heather) Hammer, James (Kimberly) Fraunfelter, III, James Wm. (Jeanette) Slade, Steven Slade, Sherri Nelson, Richie Nelson, Chad Nelson, Mindi (Pat) Wycinski, Jeannie Klingler, Danielle Klingler, Danny Lee Klingler, Jr., Elizabeth Bulow, Katelyn Klingler (Anthony Hopkins), Alan Klingler, Corey Klingler, Dale Klingler, Jr., Courtney Woods, Lexi Dupler, Ricky Epler, Gauge Klingler, Koen Klingler, Brittany Renick, Tiffany Renick, Hunter Renick, Jordan Driggs (Gwen Camp) and Lyndsay Driggs; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, her little dog, Bocheus; her closest buddies, Lori Hammer, Holly Houk, Joni Miller, Pam Tolley and Ruth Adams; many nieces and nephews and her daughter's life partner, Joe Mattinger.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Klingler who died December 19, 2000; her daughter, Donna Nelson; her grandson, Virgil Ray Cannon and her brothers, Ronald, Jerry and James Maxwell.

Family and friends will be received 2-7 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville.

Funeral services will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday with Pastor Marc Caton as celebrant.

Judy will be cremated and she will be laid to rest with her husband in Mt Horeb Cemetery at a later date.
