Nancy E. Andrews was born Aug. 8, 1866, and departed this life Jan. 26, 1937, aged 70 years five months and 18 days. She was married to A.L. Andrews on Dec. 14, 1890. To this union eight children were born, one of whom preceded the mother in death. Those surviving are Jessie, Lawson, McKinley, Hobart, Walker, Floyd, and Mrs. Amanda Salkil. Also two brothers, Ellis Cox of Abesville and Lawson Cox of Crane and one sister, Mrs. Julia Hazel of Springfield. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. with the Elsey Baptist church with Rev. Leo Perry officiating with burial in the Masonic cemetery at Crane under the direction of the Wilburn Maples Funeral Home of Clever, Mo.
