JAMES RALPH ROGERS, 65, of 115 Hillcrest Ave., retired Pennzoil Company employee, died unexpectedly at 1 a.m. Tuesday March 7, 1967, in his home. Born in Compton Station, WV on August 25, 1901, he was a son of Eugene Arthur and Carrie Belle Thompson Rogers. He was reared at Walnut Bend. He and the former Mildred Deliah Boyer were married on November 25, 1925, in Oil City. He was a member of the Hasson Heights Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife, a son, James A. Rogers of Oil City, survives Mr. Rogers. Also surviving are a brother, Arthur Rogers of Knox; a sister, Velma Smith of Coudersport and a granddaughter, Esther Mere Rogers of Oil City. Friends may call anytime the Charles A. Morrison funeral Home where relatives will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Guy Gray, pastor of the Hasson Heights Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Rynd Farm Cemetery.
