Betty was born May, 16, 1945 in Provo, Utah. Her father was in the Air Force, enabling her to experience many parts of America and Japan, and sparking her love of learning and travel. After meeting, and on December 18, 1964 marrying Thomas Browning, they decided that a permanent home in Roy is where they wanted to spend their lives and raise their family. Betty passed peacefully away in that same home with her cherished family by her side.
Her love of learning lasted a lifetime and she explored the world with her husband, children and friends. She loved the movies, going out on Saturday nights with her husband, and sneaking away with her daughter to catch a matinee.
Betty loved getting lost in a good book, and sharing those good books with her dear friends. Betty's friendships spanned many miles but she always made sure each knew they were close in her heart. She was blessed to have her best friend of over 45 years live a block away. JoAnne and Betty just simply enjoyed spending time together.
She was preceded in death by her precious son Michael, her parents, Ray and Betty Holley, her brother Ronnie, her Aunt Carol, and her grandpuppies, PJ and Buddy.
She will be interred in the Roy Cemetery.
