Averley Brown, 80, of East Lambert Street, a former school administrator, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler. Mr. Brown was born in Sterling, W.Va., and moved to this area 36 years ago from Seth, W.Va. He was a member of the Church of Christ; Lion's Club, where he was past president, Tri-City Mental Health Association, and the Bunnell City Planning Board. Survivors include his wife, Christine; a daughter, Mary E. Maxwell, Bunnell; two sons, John A., Daytona Beach, and James M. (Jim), Bunnell; three sisters, Julia Lamp, Ravenswood, W.Va., Quinnie Warren, Seth, and Grace Bennett, St. Albans, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Craig, Palm Coast, is in charge.
