William Garfield Robbins Jr., age 95, of Sweetwater, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. A veteran of WWII having served in the United States Navy. Former member of the Sweetwater Optimist Club. Attended the Cave Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Mr. Robbins was a well-known Jeweler in the Monroe County area. Preceded in death by his parents: William Garfield Robbins Sr. and Charity Hearst Robbins, wife: Helen Robbins. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Doris Ann and Rick Bolinger, of Lenoir City, sons and daughters-in-law: William G. Robbins III., of Niota, Charles Edward and Wava Robbins, of Lenoir City, Robert Wayne Robbins, Don Allen and Sandy Robbins, all of Sweetwater, grandchildren: Kevin, Michelle, Chris, Melody, and Jeff, several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Sweetwater Memory Chapel from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Elder: Harold Hunt officiating. Interment to follow in the Sweetwater Memorial Park with full military honors. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of the arrangements
