Avril Dawn Mussehl, 69, of Grain Valley, MO, formerly of Maumee, OH, passed away on February 15, 2022, after a brief illness, at the Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Avril was born in England on July 29, 1952, to Ronald and Pearl (Scarrott) Mason. Avril was a 1970 graduate of Maumee High School. She received her Associate's Degree in Business at Stautzenberger College. Avril worked for Chrysler Jeep for 30 years and retired in October 2005. She was a former member of Glendale Presbyterian Church.
Avril was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is her husband, Randy Mussehl; daughter, Megan (Benjamin) Barnes; grandson, Mason Barnes; brother, Grant (Bonnie) Mason; nephew, Derek (Kayla Petersen) Mason; and niece, Monica (Phil) Koch.
The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home at 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 p.m. A graveside burial will take place in Springfield Township Cemetery after the memorial service. Family and friends can gather at Cheers Sports Eatery on Airport Highway afterwards to share memories.
