Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James G. and Alberta E. (O'Connor) Landrigan, she had lived in Rumford for 40 years.
Mrs. Sullivan was a speech pathologist for the Barrington School Department for 25 years, retiring in 1994.
She was listed in Who's Who in American Women, and was a director at the Young People's School for Performing Arts.
She graduated from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, N.Y., in 1957 and had earned her master's degree from Boston University in 1960.
Mrs. Sullivan was a communicant of St. Margaret Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, James L. Sullivan of Vancouver, Wash.; two daughters, Cathy Sullivan of Arlington, Va., and Betsy S. LaMontagne of Barrington; a sister, Gabrielle P. Clasby of McLean, Va.; and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday from Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. and Park Avenue, Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Church, Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
