Audrey A. Scoskie Betts, 90, of Nutley, passed away on February 24, 2022. Born in Hackensack, she resided in Paterson, prior to moving to Nutley in 1969. Audrey graduated from Paterson State Teacher's College. She was an elementary school teacher in Paterson and Garfield. She retired as a Director of Financial Aid with William Paterson College. She supervised church Sunday school for many years, and was a member of St. Irene Philoptochos Society. Audrey was the daughter of the late George and Alice (Ficker) Scoskie. She was predeceased by her husband John C. Betts, her sisters Alice Silva and June Passaretti. She is survived by her sons, Stephen C., and his wife Theresa, Thomas G., and his wife Dona Grace, sister Carol Kronyak, grandchildren John C. Betts, James Leiman, and his wife Alison, their children Miles and Siena, Jared Leiman, and his wife Jennifer, and their children Madelyn, Joshua, and Caroline.

Viewing will take place on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 9:30-10:30am, followed by the funeral service at 10:30am, both at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.

The interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
