Mrs. Brunkow died of liver problems Thursday in her home. She was 66.
She was born May 8, 1924, in Oswego, N.Y. She served with the Women's Marines during World War II. She married Walter ''Bud'' Brunkow on May 12, 1945, and moved to Portland that year.
Mrs. Brunkow and her husband owned and operated their cabinet business from 1970 until their retirement in 1987.
She was a member of St. Rose Church for about 33 years until joining the congregation of Christ the King Church in 1981. She also was a former state president of the Oregon Lions Auxiliary.
Survivors besides her husband include her sons, Timothy D. and C. Martin of Portland and Thomas M. of Troutdale; daughters, Jeanine Martin of Troutdale and Christine Smith of Portland; and 17 grandchildren.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation.
