T. J. Huckaby, North Little Rock groceryman, of 213 East Twelfth street, died at a Little Rock hospital at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. He operated a grocery store at Ninth and Locust streets. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. B. C. May of North Little Rock; two sons, Thomas Huckaby of Cincinnati, O., and Logan Huckaby of North Little Rock; six brothers, Dee Huckaby of Inglewood, Cal., Ed Huckaby of Paris, Logan county, G. W. Huckaby of Hobart, Okla., and Bob Huckaby of Bay Springs, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Esco Neely of Stillwell, Okla., Mrs. John Ownbey of Stinnett, Tex., and Mrs. Will Richey of Paris, Logan county. Funeral services will be held at First Christian church, Tenth and Louisiana streets, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. G. Gerald Sias. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery by Griffin-Leggett. Pallbearers will be E. B. Lawson, George Bradley, T. H. Clift, W. F. Tarvin, A. G. Brown and Henry Maynard.
