Darrell Douglas Sorrells Jr. age 60 of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma passed away from this life on February 27th, 2022 in Lee's Summit Missouri. Darrell was born on October 24th, 1961 in Harbor City, California to Linda (Bons) and Darrell Sorrells Sr. Darrell married the love of his life, Susan (Wright) Sorrells on March 10th, 1979 in Antlers, OK. He was a drug and alcohol counselor and also the director of the Choctaw Nation Youth Center for many years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, drag racing, racecars, hunting and most of all, spending time with his family. Darrell will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Darrell is survived by his wife of the home, Susan; children, Doug Sorrells and wife Cathy of Yanush, OK, Dwane Sorrells and wife Amy of Buffalo Valley, OK, Clinton Sorrells and wife Laci of Red Oak, OK, Dakota Sorrells an d wife Loren of Talihina, OK, Brittany Campbell and husband Hayden of Buffalo Valley, OK, and Cheyenne Sorrells of Yanush, OK; mother, Linda Sorrells of Nacoma Park, OK; sister Laurie Boren and husband Keith of Jones, OK; fifteen grandchildren; nephew, Bill Reed and wife Shannon; niece, Kristen Dunn and husband Kelly; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Doug Sorrells, Dwane Sorrells, Clinton Sorrells, Dakota Sorrells, Hayden Campbell, and Dustin Knight.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 at 10:00AM at AL Stephens Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma with Rev. Phillip Sharp officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
