Mrs. Sarah (Andrews) French, 90, of Center St., died Sunday morning in Franklin County Public Hospital, Greenfield. She was born in Manchester, N.H., Feb. 7, 1869, daughter of Josiah and Susan (Bedford) Andrews. She had been a resident of Bernardston the past 38 years, formerly residing in Greenfield. She was married in Andover, V.T., in 1885 to the late Elmer E. French, who died in 1935. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Bernardston. She leaves two sons, Forrest E. of Orlando, Fla., and Ernest of Greenfield; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Ormsby of Denver, Col., and Miss Florence E. French of Center St., with whom she made her home. She also leaves nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Hodgen funeral home, Greenfield, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carvis E. Tutor of the Baptist Church of Bernardston officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Brattleboro, Vt.
