Funeral Services To Be Held Friday, June 5th, With Burial At The Elmore Cemetery
Claude Nauman, life-long resident of this community, passed away at his home in Elmore on Monday after suffering from heart trouble for the past few years.
Claude Nauman, son of Moritz and Sarah Nauman, was born on a farm north of Elmore, on August 5, 1890. He lived in and near Elmore all his life and died on Monday, June 1st, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 26 days.
On February 12, 1913, he was united in marriage to Elsie Cahoon of Elmore. For several years they made their home with his parents. In 1922, they purchased the adjoining farm where they resided until moving to Elmore in 1950.
Mr. Nauman is survived by his wife, two daughters, Vivian (Mrs. Loyd Calcutt of Waseca) and Bernice (Mrs. Norval Krosch of Eagle Bend) and one son, Ronald of Elmore; nine grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Harry Abbott of Shelby, Mont., Mrs. Otto Pirsig and Mrs. W. E. Flynn, and one brother, Guy, all of Blue Earth. Four sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5th, at the home and at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Rev. Lee Paulson will officiate at the services and Wicks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Interment will be made at Riverview Cemetery in Elmore.
