Neta Jo Myers, 75, of Vidalia,GA and formerly of Carmi passed away at at 4:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at The Oaks-Bethany in Vidalia, GA. She was born on April 21, 1946 in Carmi, IL the daughter of George William and Lela Violet (Foley) Jordan. Neta was an active part of the Carmi community. She along with her husband, Ron, owned and operated Myers TV and Appliance in Carmi. She was a member of the Carmi Lions Club, the Carmi American Legion, Business and Professional Women's Club and the United Methodist Women. Neta volunteered her time with the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, as a tutor at SIC, as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and a T-Ball Coach.

Neta is survived by her children, Tammy (Larry) Allen of Glennville, GA and Ronnie (Stephanie) Myers, II of Claxton, GA; siblings, Brenda (Ron) Barbre, Gene (Diana) Jordan, Cathy (J.D.) Garrett and Wava Burnett all of Carmi; three grandchildren, Kenneth (Elizabeth) Allen, Aaron (Shannon) Allen and Jacob Myers; nine great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Judy Myers along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Ron; two children, Lisa Myers in 1964 and a infant in 1966; a grandson, William Ernest Allen on July 25, 1982; and a brother, Sherrel Jordan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. A private family service with burial will be held on Saturday in Newman Cemetery in Carmi.
