FATHER OF 'NED'
DRESSENDORFER
IS DEAD AT 73
William Dressendorfer, ,73, 1605 East
Cook street, well known retired
merchant of this city and father of J.
E. "Ned" Dressendorfer, assistant
chief of police, died at 2:30 o'clock
this (Friday) morning at St. John's
hospital, where he had been a pa-
tient for one week suffering from
pneumonia
Mr. Dressendorfer, who was in the
grocery business in this city for
twenty years, was born and spent
his entire ife in this city. He was
a son of the late John and Barbara
Dressendorfer. He retired from ac-
tive business life ten years ago.
Surviving are his wife, two
daughters, Mrs. M. W. Norris and
Mrs. Harry Burns, of this city; and
six sons; J. E., E. B., Ray T., H. L.,
of this city; W. J., and R. A. of
Arkansas.

Gravesite Details
William Dressendorfer, son of John and Barbara Dressendorfer, died on Dec. 2, 1927. He was originally buried in Oak Ridge cemetery, Block 11, Lot 270, the Dressendorfer family lot. He was moved and reinterred in Calvary cemetery on Nov. 19, 1937.
