Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Ford, 77, of 3130 9th St., Rock Island, who died yesterday at her home, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. The Rev. Jacquel Kelewae, pastor of South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island, will officiate and burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where memorials may be left for South Park Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Findlay, Quinton Ford Jr., Clay Laffoon, Alvin Randolph, William Eggers Jr., and Walter Harkert.
The former Helen M. Eggers was born Oct. 26, 1905 in Davenport, the daughter of William and Louise Rhienhardt Eggers.
She married Walter Humphries April 17, 1934 in Davenport. He died in 1967. She married Quinton Ford April 7, 1979.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Charles E. Eggers of Cummins, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Clark of Rock Island; four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Ney of LeClaire, Iowa and Mrs. Alvin Findlay of Rock Island; and several step-children, including Quinton Ford Jr., of Moline.

Adolph C Cawi and Miss Helen May Eggers, both of Rock Island, were united in marriage here yesterday afternoon, with the Rev. Webster Hakes, rector of Trinity Episcopal church, officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O. Eggers of Rock Island. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Anton Cawi of that city. The new home will be made in Rock Island.
