During World War II, June played the guitar and sang with her sister Kathryn as they traveled the Midwest performing. June had been employed at Teledyne Continental Motors for over 30 years prior to her retirement; and had attended Hope Reformed Church.
Survivors include her brother, Russell Buitendorp; 1 niece, Marcia Gillespie and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Kathryn Dake and Lois Jensen.
Private interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
