Spartanburg – Kenneth Barry Wilson, Jr., 65, husband of Kathy Lawson Wilson, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

He was born on February 14, 1957 in Georgetown, SC to the late Kenneth Barry and Lou Ellen Ethridge Wilson. Barry attended Cowpens High School and was employed with several fence companies. He was the founder of Wilson Fence Company. Barry retired after 20 years of service with USC Upstate Maintenance Department.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, Barry is survived two sons, Travis Wilson (Kristy) and their children Hunter, Owen, and Morgan Wilson and Jada, Adyson, and Brodie Stancil; Jason Wilson (Crissy) and their children Avery, Payton, Tate; brother, David Wilson (Nancy); three sisters, Diane Dearybury, Regena Garrett, and Melinda Hayes (Nathan).

A memorial service will be held at 5:00PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Bethel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
