MRS. CORDELIA MCINTYRE
The funeral of Mrs. Cordelia McIntyre was held at the residence of the family of her deceased son on Lucas Avenue last Saturday and the remains were taken to Hubnell [Hubbard] for burial. Her death occurred Saturday morning at about 2 o'clock, resulting from paralysis and asthma. She was born in New York 70 years ago, was married there, and had lived in Iowa about 12 years. Rev. F. W. Ginn conducted the funeral services.

Mrs. Cordelia McIntyre passed away at the home on South Lucas Avenue at 2:20 o'clock Saturday morning. She had reached the allotted three score and ten years as her seventieth birthday would have been celebrated in the early part of next October. Mrs. McIntyre in her lifetime has suffered two strokes of paralysis and has lately been a victim of asthma. Those were the causes of her demise.

She was born in New York State where she was married, and came to Eagle Grove some twelve years ago. There were three children, two boys and one girl, all of whom have passed away. Mrs. McIntyre was well known in Eagle Grove and her Christian character has made itself felt among the people of this city for many years. Her life has been an ideal one and the world is better for her having lived. The relatives will receive the sincere sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. The funeral occurred at the home Saturday afternoon and the remains were taken to Hubbard for burial.
