Alberta Emerson was born October 24, 1934, in Muskogee Oklahoma. She passed away at home in Morris, Oklahoma, on March 6, 2022.

Alberta was preceded in death by her Father George Carter, Mother Ruby (Myers) Carter and her little brother, Lucky Carter.

She is survived by her large family: Husband Jerry of the home, Brother George Jr. sister Betty and Sister Rebecca (8) Children Terri Michael , Elizabeth , Leslie , Tammi, Pam, Charlie (Lynn) and Shannon. (17) Grandchildren Mickey (Shawn) H., Marques P., Brittany P., Jenny R., Brandy T., Tonya (Chad) L, Misty (Rod) B., Destini D., Christopher T., Kylie, Kinzie and Harlie S., Quila, Devon and Brayden S., Charlie S. II and Kiersten S.

Alberta is survived by her (24) Great Grandchildren, Derek (Kayla) and Elijah , Meagan, Caitlyn and Jacob L., Ryan C., Jace P., Courtney, Ashton and Preston T., Brandon (Chandler), Blake (Sarah) and Haley L., Tatyanna and Tiara B., Brooklyn B., Tytus T., Kaylee C., Hunter, Brecken, and Kimber Quinn, Raven, and Luna S., and Tre R.. Her (7) Great-Great-grandchildren Zeppelin, Jackson, and Walker H., Christopher L., Krew, Leighton and Bekitt L.

Alberta is also survived by her extended family which includes many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Alberta loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales, and especially spending the day in Tulsa thrift store shopping. She was always looking out for all her children and grandchildren, she loved each and every one of them dearly. She was kind-hearted but had a fist of steel. She was always there for everyone, even strangers. One of her favorite pastimes was dancing, and she could burn up the dance floor. Alberta loved to laugh and have a good time, she especially enjoyed keeping her husband Jerry in line, which he enjoyed too!

She will be missed deeply by all her family and friends. She left a long legacy and we will keep her memories close to our hearts. Everyone will have many stories to tell for years to come.

A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM March 11, 2022 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel, 220 S. Alabama Ave. Okmulgee, Oklahoma with Pastor Rocky Ausbrooks officiating
