I am his youngest child and I was three years old when he passed away. My memories are mostly from what was told to me over the years from my mama and older sisters. What I do know is he loved his family. My mama always said if we needed anything he made sure we had it. I do remember getting in bed between Mama and Daddy and burning up under the covers. Funny how you remember things like that. I would have loved to have known him. I do know he drove a tractor and farmed for someone. He was missing his left forearm having lost it in a hunting accident. Mama always said that didn't keep him from picking us up when we would raise our arms to him. My mama always kept him alive for me and for that I will always be grateful. They are together now and I know they are both smiling down on their girls
