Beloved mother, cherished grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many, Barbara Jean White, age 78, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 5, 2022 surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in New Rhodes, Louisiana on September 15, 1943 to Sermie and Vera Mae Deen. On January 1, 1982 she married the love of her life, Billy Ray White. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray White; her parents, Sermie and Vera Deen and her brother, John Royal Thompson. She is survived by her children, Deanna Moore, Billy White, Jr. (Lisa), Johnny Stokes, Julie Warbington (Danny), Rubi Kuler, Dean Andrews, Aaron Henson (Regina) and Amber Powell (Matthew Williams). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; her brother, Buster Thompson and her sisters, Wanda Roberts and Evelyn Sing. Barbara loved the Lord…He always came first in her life. She was a member of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church and loved her church family. She loved camping, fishing, traveling, sewing and making crafts. She also loved gardening, reading, music, shopping and collecting many things but her true passion in life was her family and the time she spent with them. Visitation for Barbara will be held at Mulberry Springs Baptist Church from 1pm-2pm on Monday, March 7, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Mulberry Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Warbington officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Jefferson, Texas where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Pallbearers will be Matthew Warbington, Joshua Warbington, Matthew Kuler, Matthew McClendon, Derek Rabalais, Drayson Henson, Matthew Williams and Alex Rabalais. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Powell, Kristin Stokes Harrell, Brendan Andrews, Taylor Henson, Earl Warbington and Zachary Rabalais. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Barbara's memory to Mulberry Springs Baptist Church, Building Fund, 16376 FM 449, Hallsville, TX 75650.
