OTELLINI, David G. - In this City, June 16, 2004. Born October 7, 1924. Son of Enrico and Virginia Otellini; beloved husband of Evelyn for 57 years; father of Paul (and wife Sandy) and Monsignor Steven Otellini; grandfather of Patrick and Alexis.

A lifelong San Franciscan, graduated Commerce High School, served his country in the Army Air Corp during World War II, and returned to a long career as a retail and wholesale butcher. His passions were bowling, baseball and golf, highlighted by a hole-in-one at the 17th hole at Lincoln Golf Course. He had a lifelong love of Lake Tahoe beginning with his honeymoon in 1946, and continuing annually thereafter. He married Evelyn D. Ghezzi on September 28, 1946 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in San Francisco. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, including "The Club". He loved dancing and cocktails at five. His favorite toast was "To those that are here, to those that are not, and to those who wish they were". He will be remembered with love and missed by all who knew him. A member of the Olympic Club for 18 years and long time parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 3240 Lawton St. (at 39th Ave.), San Francisco.

In lieu of flowers his family requests donations in his name to either: Little Sisters of the Poor, 300 Lake St., S. F., CA 94118 or UCSF Foundation, UCSF Cancer Research Fund. c/o Rachael English, UCSF P.O. Box 0248, S. F., CA 94143-0248. DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY
