Georgia Ann Abdon, 70, of Greendale, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. She was born November 13, 1951 in Batesville, Indiana, daughter of the late James and Mary (McCabe) McAdams.
Georgia was a member of the Arch Street Gang and Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Brian (Kim) Abdon of Cincinnati, OH, Cody (Tara) Abdon of Greendale, IN; 8 grandchildren, Brock, Blake, Braden "Bubba", Summer, Alex, Jace, Mia, Ava; 3 brothers, Jim (Glenda) Dryden of Manchester, IN, Donald Green of Milan, IN, Frank Green of Milan, IN; 3 sisters, May (Dennis) Thomas of Sunman, IN, Loeta Wilson of Sunman, IN, Sjon Green of Milan, IN; 4 brothers-in-law, John Abdon, Al (Joan) Abdon, Mike (Nancy) Abdon, Mark (Susann) Abdon; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ray) Beatty; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary McAdams; her husband, Dennis Abdon; and her brother, Michael Green.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Monday, March 7, 2022 at 2 pm, with Pastor Brian Dunaway officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
