Taraneka moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas over fourteen years ago and was employed with McDonalds for twelve years. She was truly a Roll Tide Fan. Everyone had to be extremely quiet when Alabama was playing games. Neka loved life and cooking She truly treasured all the time she spent with her family. She was very fond of all of her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed and always treasured in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father; maternal great-grandmother, Matilda Jackson; paternal grandmother, Barbara Bee; aunt, Carol Craig; uncles, Reginald, Gary and Alonzo Barnes; and cousin, Maurice Johnson.
Survivors: son, ZaMarlen Craig; four grandchildren, Luna Jonah, Za'Chaeus and Everleigh; mother, Deborah Craig; brothers, Sharif and Tyrell Craig; sisters, Sherita (Castello Chestnut), Terrika and Sharkeila Craig; brothers, Sharif and Tyrell Craig, all of Fort Smith, AR; maternal grandmother, Dora Barnes of Mobile, AL; aunts, Deloris Washington, Diana Murray and Deidre Ray all of Mobile, AL, Elizabeth Craig of Detroit MI, Melissa Craig of Battle Creek, MI and Cassandra Craig of Albion, MI; uncles, Carlos Barnes (Ann) of Junction City, KS, Walter Davis, Jr. (Shirley) of Mobile, AL, Reginald, George and Joe Craig all of Albion, MI; numerous nephews and nieces; a great-niece; and a host of other relatives and friends; and her two special friends, Mischa Deering and Candice Lewis.
