"Mrs. Anna Kovalik, 76, died Monday in Palmerton Hospital. She was the widow of Wasil Kovalik.
She was a midwife in the 1930s and 1940s.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Katherine (Stehneck) Zidiac.
Surviving are three brothers, Nicholas of Northampton, John of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Joseph of Palmerton; two sisters, Patricia, wife of Robert Leopold of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Helen Barrett of Allentown; a stepdaughter Joan, wife of Joseph Vargo of Palmerton, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Charles H. Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. A calling hour will precede the services."
