David Louis Amalfitano, 65, of Kingston died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center of Plainsboro. Born in Princeton, NJ. , he resided most of his life in Rocky Hill before moving to Kingston 15 years ago. David retired in 2008 with over 32 years of service as a custodian with the Montgomery High School.

David's father and uncles were members of the Rocky Hill Fire Department, a legacy that David continued for over 45 years. He was also a member of the Kingston Fire Department for over 13 years and a member of the Princeton Elks for over 45 years. David was an exempt fire fighter and a life member of the New Jersey Fireman's Association. He always enjoyed the Fireman's Convention. "David was a genuine man, if he was your friend, he was your friend."

Son of the late Louis and Hilda (Orndolf) Amalfitano, he is survived by his brother Dennis N. Amalfitano, a niece Amanda Elizabeth Amalfitano Acevedo and many brother and sister fire fighters that loved him.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.

Burial will follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery, Rocky Hill.
