There is a Social Security Death Index record for a Dolores Buckingham, 24 Sep 1897-Aug 1977. It seems likely these are the same people, but although it's difficult to read, the engraving definitely has an "H" instead of a "K", and the date is definitely not "Sept 24 1897". I've also seen online records where someone has corrected the "K" to be an "H".
