Ethel's parents were Edward L & Caroline A. (nee Howe) Orcutt, he was born in Somerville & she in Cambridge. She married Winifield H McKown in Somerville on June 18,1918 and he predeceased her on June 9 1953. They had two children - Winfield Jr and Marjorie. Ethel resided with her family up throughout 1930 and then resided at the Danvers State Hospital in 1935, 1940 & 1950 according to the U S Census.
