BURRISS FUNERAL WILL BE HELD HERE SUNDAY

Funeral services for William Grant Burris, 62, former local resident, who died at his home in Indianapolis on Thursday will be conducted in Elwood Sunday.

Mr. Burris was born in Elwood, October 13, 1868.

He was the son of Solomon and Margaret Burris.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge in Indianapolis, where he has resided during the past fifteen years.

He was twice married. By his first marriage he leaves one son, Paul Burris, of Detroit.

Fifteen years ago he was married to Alida Gerard, who survives.

He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Florence Wright, of Minnesota.

The body will be brought to the Clark chapel Sunday afternoon and will lie in state there until the hour of the funeral. Services will be conducted at the chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. E.L. Gates, pastor of the First M.E. church. Burial will be made in the city cemetery.
