Obituary for Carl L. Miller, Sr.
Carl Lewis Miller Sr. age 81 of Albion, Oklahoma passed away from this life on March 13th, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. Carl was born on February 24th, 1941 in Albion, Oklahoma to Alta (Wilson) and James Miller. He graduated from Albion school and lived in the area most of his life. He worked many years at the Ammunition Plant and retired after 37 years as a police officer. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, but most of all mowing the grass. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Carl is survived by his son, James Jeffery Miller and wife Charlotte of Wister, OK; daughter, Melanie Bartlett of Arkoma, OK; granddaughter, Aleiyah Smith of the home; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Danny Miller and wife Carol of Miami, OK.
Carl is preceded in passing by his sons, Carl (Scooter) Miller Jr. and Marion Earl Miller; sisters, Joy Odom and Diane Yeager.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, March 17th, 2022 at 2:00PM at Albion Cemetery in Albion, Oklahoma with Bro. Kenny Bryant officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
